Best personal budget podcast8/24/2023 These are pretty long, and packed full of great information. I love reading his blogs but some of his best work are the podcasts. He opens up and is very raw and genuine about his own experiences chasing FIRE, especially talking about his own mental head-space and I think he should be commended and respected for that. He also offers as a wealth of free research on topics spanning investing, tax minimisation, as well as the general psychology of investing and FIRE specifically. His blog the Mad FIentist provides an amazing inspiration and a load of free practical tools such as calculators, portfolio managers and travel hacking comparison tools. Brandon AKA the Mad FIentist was able to retire from workforce in 2016 age 34. The Mad FIentist details Brandon’s journey to financial independence through investing in ETFs. The Mad FIentist, or Mad ‘Financial Independence’ Scientist was launched in 2012 by American blogger and software engineer Brandon. ![]() Michael’s message will be priceless regardless of the size of your real estate investment portfolio – whether you’re just starting out or an experienced investor wanting to move to the next level, he will provide you a roadmap for real estate investing and financial success. MIchael has been voted one of Australia’s top 50 Influential Thought Leaders and while he is best known as a real estate investment expert, he is also Australia’s leading expert in the psychology of success and wealth creation and a #1 best selling author of 9 books. Twice each week Michael Yardney shares smart property investment strategies as well as the success and personal finance secrets of the rich, in around 30 minutes. The Michael Yardney Podcast | Property Investment, Success & Money Two Aussie Girls Amber Parr and Katherine Hayes chat about all things money and career with tips, tricks and insights that you wish you had known years ago.įortnightly episodes releasing on Mondays, Money Madams delivers practical and easy to understand money and life advice with a sense of humour so you can lead your best Money Madam life. ![]() Money Madams – Amber Parr and Katherine Hayes I interviewed the Aussie Firebug on the CaptainFI Podcast way back in Episode 4! Thanks for the early support AFB!.I was a guest on the Aussie Firebugs ‘Ask Firebug Friday’ Segment, However due to AFB’s concerns with ASIC, he has taken down all of the Ask Firebug Friday podcast segments. His style of writing clearly resonates with younger Australians His blogs are fun to read and its clear that the Aussie Firebug has a great sense of humour, is hard working and is just generally pretty down to earth Aussie. The Aussie firebug also provides useful step by step guides which really resonated with me, as we have come to a number of independent conclusions and use many of the same products.ĪFB has a strong community engagement and also runs dedicated ‘Ask Firebug Friday’ blogs where he interacts directly with his followers. His website is a great wealth of resources and features informative and entertaining podcast interviews. The Aussie Firebug started his investing journey with a deep dive into property investment and (just like Strong Money Australia) has since refocused his efforts into index funds through ETFs and LICs like Mr Money Moustache and the Mad FIentist. how to start a brokerage account, how to invest in shares, how to fill out a tax treaty form etc. Whilst a lot of bloggers present great information and reasoning, The Aussie Firebug goes that one step further and gives you detailed information (including YouTube tutorials) about the actual steps you need to take to pursue FIRE, i.e. The Aussie Firebug was one of the first personal finance content creators I really got on board with and could relate to, and helped me to discover FIRE from an Australian perspective. The Aussie Firebug was started by an Australian software engineer in 2015 in which he blogged about his pathway to financial independence. The Aussie Firebug is hands down my all time favorite of the FIRE bloggers and podcasters. ![]() Your Money Or Your Life | Vicki Robin – Book Summary.
